German Club, which is available to all 7th and 8th grade German students held its first meeting on September 25th. The members played soccer for about five minutes when their soccer ball exploded. Thanks to Mr. Baumgartner for supplying the club with a ball from the P.E. department so they could continue playing. They also enjoyed a German Flag Cake and a worked on designing a T-shirt which will be voted on at their next meeting.

The next German club meeting is in October. Pretzels and German soda will be provided. Club memebers will work on a German flag art project, vote for the winner of the T-shirt design contest and plan the German games that will be played at the November meeting.
