Ms. Reimann, Mrs. Jacob, and Ms. Hausman's flyertimes collected over 276 stuffed animals for SAFE (Stuffed Animals for Emergencies)!

Soc vs Greasers Learning in Action

During the reading of The Outsiders,7th grade students were divided up and labeled Socials and Greasers. Students were treated differently that day in order to understand what it was like to be stereotyped based on social class. Teacher favored the Socials and assumed the worst about the Greasers.

Welcome 6th Graders

Truman 6th graders arrived for an orientation today. Students met teachers, took a tour of the school, practiced opening their lockers and just got an overall feel for what a day in the life of a 6th grader is like.
