Student Council Donut Sale

StuCo members held a donut sale to raise funds to send kids to the Missouri Association of Student Councils State Convention in March.

Science Olympiad

On Saturday 13 Truman students competed in the regional Science Olympiad Tournament...the team spent first semester preparing for 23 events. Congratulations to all who participated and a special shout-out to the kids with asterisk, who finished in the top five in their event.

Bully Free Awareness Week

This week has been Bully Free Awareness Week.  Tuesday was Random Acts of Kindness (RAK) day.  Students were given slips of paper with suggestions of nice things to do for other students or staff.  Wednesday was Ice Out Bullying day.  Students could bring in $3.00 and buy Ted Drewes ice cream.  Profits are going to the Megan Meier Foundation and also to help pay for Flight Crew and some STUCCO members to attend the March 14 Anti Bullying Middle School Seminar.  Thursday was Warm Up to Friendship day.  Students could stay warm while wearing their pajamas.  Friday we had Stick Together day.  Students could dress up like their friends.

Spelling Bee

Congratulations to all of the Spelling Bee participants.  The first place winner, Nathan, will represent Truman at the regional spelling bee on March 10 at Maryville University.

Warm Up to Friendship

Thursday was Warm Up to Friendship Day.  Students were encouraged to wear their pajamas and be open to making new friends.
